Who is responsible

QuarterReady is operated by Danyal Ahmed, who is the data controller for personal information handled by QuarterReady. For privacy questions, rights requests or data-protection complaints, email quarterready.contact@gmail.com.

What the browser-only tools do

The threshold checker, route planner and marketplace worksheet run in JavaScript in your browser. QuarterReady does not submit the figures or choices you enter to a server, create an account, or write those entries to local or session storage. QuarterReady does not intentionally retain the entries after you refresh or close the page.

The tools need only summary amounts and broad workflow choices. Do not enter names, addresses, tax references, Government Gateway credentials, bank or card details, customer records, uploaded statements or tax returns.

Information processed when the site loads

QuarterReady is a static website hosted and delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes technical traffic data that may include your IP address, the requested URL, request time, traffic-routing information, browser or system configuration, and security signals. This is necessary to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website.

For processing controlled by QuarterReady, the lawful basis is legitimate interests: publishing a reliable and secure educational website. Cloudflare processes Customer Logs and site content on QuarterReady's behalf under its Data Processing Addendum. Cloudflare states that it acts as a separate controller for certain other end-user and network information used for its own operational and security purposes. QuarterReady does not download or maintain a separate copy of raw visitor logs.

Cloudflare may use group companies and subprocessors. Read Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

Cookies, analytics and external links

QuarterReady does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, chat widgets, affiliate tracking or non-essential cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie if a security feature such as bot protection or a browser challenge requires one. Cloudflare describes these in its cookie documentation.

Links to GOV.UK, HMRC, the ICO and any future provider open an external website. Those sites have their own privacy and cookie practices. Current provider links are ordinary, untracked links.

If you contact QuarterReady

If you email QuarterReady, Danyal Ahmed receives the address, message and any other information you choose to include. It is used to answer the enquiry, handle a privacy request or correct the site. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding and maintaining the service, or compliance with a legal obligation where one applies.

Email is handled through Gmail, so Google also processes the correspondence. Read Google's Privacy Policy. Routine correspondence is kept only while needed to resolve the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, then deleted unless a legal obligation or claim requires it for longer. Do not email tax records, credentials, payment details or other sensitive documents.

Retention and international processing

Under Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum, personal data handled as QuarterReady's processor is retained until the service ends or the processing is no longer necessary, whichever happens first, except where law requires otherwise. For information Cloudflare handles as a controller, Cloudflare sets retention by considering the purpose, nature and sensitivity of the information, risk and legal requirements.

Cloudflare is a US-based global company. It says information is primarily stored in the United States and European Economic Area and may be accessed where it operates. For restricted transfers, Cloudflare describes reliance on recognised transfer frameworks and contractual safeguards in its Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access to, correction or deletion of personal data, restriction of its use, data portability, or to object to its use. Email quarterready.contact@gmail.com. QuarterReady does not use personal data for profiling or decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this notice

The effective date above changes when this notice is materially updated. Analytics, affiliate tracking or any new server-side data collection will not be introduced silently; this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before those features are enabled.
